Alex is a composer and arranger based in Central London. His creative and versatile approach to writing has led him to compose for documentaries, feature films and commercials as well as extensively working in theatre, most notably at the Royal National Theatre in London.

A 2005 graduate of Paul McCartney’s LIPA, Alex works with a rare collection of instruments and vintage recording gear (along with a whizzy Pro Tools studio). He always aims for originality ensuring each project is unique and approached with fresh ears.

He is presently composing the music to "Hamlet" directed by Sir Nicolas Hytner, opening in the National’s Olivier Theatre in October 2010.

His music and arrangements for Earthquakes in London directed by Rupert Goold is playing to sold out audiences at the National's Cottesloe Theatre until September 22nd 2010.

Feature films include "TreQuarti" (2009) and "Secrets" (2010). Year long retail installation in Tokyo, Japan.
