Screened Music News - Darrell Alexander joins Screened Music as guest panellist
Darrell is founder of COOL Music Ltd, a composer agency which represents many of the finest award winning Film & TV composers working in the UK today. His client list includes Oscar, Emmy, Bafta and Ivor Novello award winning composers such as Anne Dudley, Julian Nott, Rob Lane, Nicholas Hooper, Magnus Fiennes, Edmund Butt, Martin Phipps and John Lunn. As musicians contractors and score co-ordinators for composers and production companies, COOL Music Ltd also helped Jan Kaczmarek win the 2005 Oscar for his beautiful score to Miramax’s Finding Neverland (Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet, Dustin Hoffman).
COOL Music Ltd have recently finished working on the Warner Bros films Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, scored by Nicholas Hooper. The musicians were contracted and the score was co-ordinated and produced by COOL Music Ltd.
COOL Music Ltd continues to be run by musicians who have worked at the highest musical levels, who also have a desire to promote and protect the rights of their composers.
